Brave New World

A huge thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund and HM Government for awarding Get Changed a Coronavirus Community Support Fund.

When Covid arrived back in March Get Changed were super quick to be able to respond to the crisis by promptly switching to delivering our activities virtually, we were one of the first groups in the country to adapt to this way of working. All credit for this goes to Jules and our creative team.

Through this funding we will develop the skills and confidence of our participants and their carers, particularly in the use of technology, which was identified as a major challenge. To this end we will run group and individual training in its use. Funding for this project would support us in trying out new ideas and ways for our participants to produce pieces of drama using this technology, exploring different ways of communicating with our participants and assisting us in building skills we will need for the future.

Our Brave New World project will enable us to develop our expertise further, keep our participants connected and importantly to create new digital art work.
